Intercultural Week – Film screening “Being a winner”

11-year-old Mona, who fled to Germany from Syria, attends a school in Berlin’s Wedding district and initially struggles with the classic stigmas. Her great passion is soccer, so she joins the girls’ soccer team at her school. The girls are preparing for a big soccer tournament in which all the Berlin schools compete against each other. There are a few hurdles that they can only overcome together. A film about escape, equal opportunities, exclusion, gender roles and team spirit. Children’s film/drama D 2024. Recommended for children and young people aged 10 and over.
