Movie night with the Singen-Radolfzell film club
In the film “Jugendjahre in Konstanz 1937 – 1948” by Karlheinz Kunzweiler, a contemporary witness talks about his childhood during the war and his youth during the occupation. Contemporary photos and film footage show everyday life and the indoctrination of young people in the classroom and in the Hitler Youth up to their conscription into the Volkssturm. The strict rules of the French occupiers did not only force young people into house arrest.
