ADFC riding safety course for pedelec riders
12. April – 20. September | 10:00 bis 14:00 Uhr

The trend towards pedelecs continues unabated – more and more people are opting for electric two-wheelers. However, safe riding also requires practice. The ADFC project “Radspaß – sicher e-biken” (“Cycling fun – safe e-biking”) provides this with appropriate riding safety courses, including in the district of Constance. The courses offered by the ADFC Radolfzell local group can be selected at www.radspass.org and then booked. By entering the voucher code “T2EBWHMH2SDR” when booking, the course can be booked for €19 less (€19 instead of €38). The vouchers are financed by the city of Radolfzell.
In addition to riding technique exercises to train coordination and reaction, the courses also cover road safety topics in theory, with participants practising special riding situations to develop a feel for the bike and then be able to ride safely in traffic. Riding a pedelec is a little different from riding a conventional bike, if only because of the strong acceleration and the higher weight. Newcomers should therefore take a little time to get to know the pedelec better and adjust to the new riding experience. After a fun cycling course, you will ride more safely and have more fun.
