City tour in the footsteps of Ratold

Bishop Ratold of Verona founded Radolfzell in 826 as a spiritual settlement. During the guided tour of the town, you will learn how it first developed into a fishing village and place of pilgrimage and finally into today’s Radolfzell.

The tour starts from the town museum in the “Alte Stadtapotheke” (old town pharmacy) and takes you through the alleyways of Radolfzell’s old town. The Cathedral of Our Lady is of course a central point of this cultural and historical tour of the town. The tour also includes the historic hospital building and the Austrian Palace.

In the summer months, the city tour takes place every Saturday at 11 am.

We can also offer you English or French city tours on request.

Grocer’s market

The grocer’s markets in Radolfzell are among the most popular and traditional markets in the region. For visitors from the Lake Constance region, Hegau and Switzerland, the Radolfzell fairs offer a shopping opportunity with a varied range of goods from mobile specialist stores.

Bicycle coding by the ADFC

Bicycle coding is the unique identification of the bicycle using a code consisting of letters and numbers. The code contains the vehicle registration number of the region, municipality and street key, house number, as well as the initials of the owner and the year of the marking. This code can be easily decoded by the authorities and the police and clearly assigned to the owner.

Only with registration. Registration is possible here.
