Live music with Barconara

Barconara – a young singer-songwriter from Italy – brings the lifestyle of the south directly to us!
With his flair for melodies that sound like dolce vita and times gone by, he radiates passion, timbre and plenty of emotion.

Knowledge of Italian is an advantage – but you don’t need a dictionary for good music.
If you’re open to genuine emotions and southern charm, this is the place for you.

Jazzchor Konstanz – Anniversary concert

The Constance Jazz Choir lets the sparks fly – without any fireworks! It celebrates its 25th anniversary with groove, emotion and goosebumps guaranteed. They sing what moves the heart: a best-of from pop anthems to vocal jazz and new, fresh arrangements.

27 singers, passionate and with powerful voices, meet sensitive virtuosos on piano and guitar: Jürgen Waidele and Rainer Apel provide the musical spice – under the inspired direction of Willi Hetz, who has led the choir with esprit and dedication for five years. The evening’s leitmotif is provided by presenter Harald Kühl – with humor, style and a large portion of charm.

Since 2000, the Constance Jazz Choir has stood for sonorous diversity, musical quality and the tangible joy of singing together. Whether tender and soulful or energetic and funky – the choir doesn’t just sing notes, it tells stories. Further information: www.jazzchor-konstanz.de

Fathers & sons

The name says it all: the “fathers” Carlo Schultheiss (harp, voc) and Jürgen Ruhl (git, voc) play with the “sons” Hannes Schultheiss (bass) and Kevin Laule (drums): The blues is alive, the stories of the honored greats too, boogie goes on, and the concert guests not only get their money’s worth, they really bring the music to life.

“Blues is an essence,” says Ruhl, “it lives in the hearts of those who live with it!” So once again there is an invitation to the “house of blues”, where everyone will find a suitable apartment and from there embark on an atmospheric journey through the raw history of the blues with the now fully electrified band. It can happen that Hendrix is suddenly heard in harmony with Hooker and the Doors take a short trip to Ireland. The style always remains unique. The musicians’ concept also remains the same: “We give everything we can give, the house is open to everyone and at the end the guests give what they can give.” And don’t forget to boogie! MrPete. Pop, rock and jazz standards from the last 60 years

MrPete is Peter Remmele, a trained classical guitarist who has spent decades on the road in jazz, blues and rock formations. And Peter Schönfeld, largely self-taught on the electric and double bass, who has developed as a musician in numerous clubs and at festivals in Germany and abroad, at SWR and at the Staatstheater Stuttgart.

The duo plays classics from pop and rock history in their own arrangements. The songs are given new forms, sometimes different harmonies and are presented in a new way. The duo’s music contains classical, rock and jazz elements, creating intensity, density and room for improvisation. Anything but cover versions! Further information: www.mrpete.de

Live music with the Eggs of Columbus

The Eggs of Columbus have been making music in the same line-up for over 35 years. Influenced by the musical tastes of our older brothers, sisters and their friends from Wahlwies, we were interested in music from all genres.

Led Zeppelin, Bob Marley, Iron Maiden, Bap, Guru Guru, Frank Zappa, Miles Davis, Queen, Ton Steine Scherben, Santana, Nina Simone, to name but a few.

It was clear from the very beginning that we didn’t want to be a cover band, and so we played only our own compositions from the start (at that time still under the name “Kongo Bongo, Matscho Band”). Our style back then could perhaps be described as punk rock in reggae and Zappa style. Our first live performances were cabaret-style with parodies, disguises, improvisations and a lot of elaborate tam-tam.

In 1996 (in Radolfzell there was still a refreshing, colorful independent scene and performance opportunities for bands that didn’t want to keep up with the mainstream) we now produced under the name: Die Eier des Columbus and with the help of other more experienced musicians (e.g. Golle, Mike Lindauer, Pete) we produced our first record “Auf der Suche nach dem Glück”.

Today’s egg archive contains well over 150 original compositions and parodies with lyrics in German, Alemannic dialect and English (Denglish).

In 2016, we then made the second record entitled “Die Ursuppe lebt”.

Under the motto: “It’s normal that everyone is crazy but me”, the Eggs have been playing their live concerts ever since, and now once again in Radolfzell, Live im Wunderfitz.

Admission free! Admission 7 pm, start 8.15 pm

An appropriate hat donation is requested!
