Radolfzell evening market
The Radolfzell evening market has been part of the summer atmosphere on western Lake Constance for many years. Every Thursday from 4 to 9 pm, the historic heart of Radolfzell’s market square is transformed into a cozy meeting place from the end of June to the beginning of September. Food and drink stalls provide moments of enjoyment and music is also on offer. Smaller bands, such as singer-songwriters, perform on the market stage.

Fruit cider and must tasting at the Radolfzell evening market
The Stahringer Streuobstmosterei has been pressing specialties from unsprayed high-stem fruit since 1989. The single-variety fruit wines (Gelbmöstler, Bohnapfel), the cider Brisanti and the multi-award-winning pear aperitif BIRNOH can be sampled – also in groups of up to 8 people. There is also plenty of information and exciting stories about the history of fruit growing on Lake Constance and recipes for cocktails and long drinks. For example, the apple verjus Apfelgrün developed in Radolfzell is used to mix cocktails in the trendy Berlin cocktail bars (Green Door Bar and Bonvivant). Under the brand name CiBi, the Streuobstmosterei has developed a mixed drink together with a partner brewery, which will also be presented – freshly tapped from the barrel – at the cider tasting. And for those who prefer sweet and non-alcoholic drinks, our green and red fruit lemonade Brisanti (without added beet sugar and flavorings) and our fair-trade apple-mango pear juice also provide access to the orchard fruit taste experience.

Wine meadow Radolfzell
Radolfzell used to be an important center of viticulture and Radolfzell wine was long regarded as the town’s finest product. Today, numerous vineyards can be found in the neighboring communities, where local winegrowers produce elegant and fruity wines.
The Weinwiese Radolfzell revives the tradition of the wine festival in this lovely town on Lake Constance. The event site at the Konzertsegel, a landmark of Radolfzell’s lakeside promenade, offers the Weinwiese a new and atmospheric home.
The Rebholz Winery, Bodman Castle Winery, Constance Hospital Winery, Hagnau Winegrowers’ Association, Aufricht Winery and Meersburg State Winery serve their wines in lovingly designed winegrowers’ huts directly on the shores of Lake Constance. Four regional restaurateurs and the Seebar am Konzertsegel serve seasonal dishes. In the evening, the area of the Radolfzell wine meadow is transformed into an illuminated sea of color, creating a unique atmosphere in the balmy late summer.
In addition to wine and culinary delights, the Weinwiese Radolfzell offers a varied program with the presentation of all participating wineries, atmospheric live bands, danceable DJ evenings and a morning pint on Sunday.
Look forward to a festival full of enjoyment, music and socializing, right on the shores of Lake Constance.
