Hacking in the city library – programming fun with the Calliope mini
19. April | 16:00 bis 19:00 Uhr
As part of the “Digital Friday” series of events in April, media educator Markus Mauch can transform the Calliope mini into a musical instrument, a traffic light or an alarm system in no time at all.
The Calliope mini is a so-called microcontroller. It was specially developed for children and young people to learn the basics of programming. The experimental circuit board can be used for tinkering, programming and hacking – guaranteed to keep boredom at bay.
The Calliope mini is a project as part of the “Wissenswandel. Digital program for libraries and archives within Neustart Kultur” with the support of the Messmer Foundation. It can be borrowed from the LEIHbar technology section of the city library.
