Book Flea Market at the Old Town Festival
During the Old Town Festival on Saturday, September 12, 2026, the Friends of the City Library Association (Freundeskreis Stadtbibliothek e.V.) will host a book flea market from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. right in front of the main entrance to the City Library, featuring many humorous, exciting, entertaining, and thought-provoking treasures to enjoy during your next reading sessions. The Friends of the Library will be offering a wide selection of novels, as well as nonfiction, children’s, and young adult books, for sale at affordable prices. Book Donations for the Flea Market
Donations of books for the flea market can be dropped off at the City Library during opening hours from Tuesday, September 8, 2026, through Friday, September 11, 2026. We are accepting only novels for adults, children’s and young adult books, nonfiction, and games. Other media (cassettes, CDs, and others) will not be accepted. The books should be in good condition and no more than ten years old.
